Tida is a cozy Persian restaurant with a beautiful design and a warm atmosphere. The concept behind their dishes — especially the one with crispy tahdig layers and stew in between — is truly creative and appealing. The food itself was tasty; the flavors of the stews and kebabs were acceptable , and the presentation looked nice.
However, the space is very small, which made the dining experience less comfortable. We were seated at a large shared table with another family — something that might be enjoyable in a café for socializing, but not ideal for a lunch. We also had to move seats a couple of times to accommodate other guests, which disrupted the meal.
The portion sizes were surprisingly small. For example, the gheymeh dish came with just one or two small spoonfuls of stew between two pieces of tahdig, with very little amount of meat. We also tried the chenjeh, fesenjan, and kebab koobideh. While they looked appetizing, the servings were again too small for the price.
The tahdig was quite crispy and oily — though that’s expected for this dish — so no complaint there. But the side salad was disappointing; it lacked enough seasoning, salt, and dressing, which made it bland. In this season spring /summer all vegetables are so fresh!
Overall, while the food was good and the concept interesting, the experience felt overpriced for what was served. Paying around $27 for two pieces of tahdig and a small amount of stew didn’t feel worth it. I really wanted to like this place, but given the portion size and overall value, I wouldn’t go back.

Tida Persian is a small but cozy spot with a welcoming vibe. The portions are generous and the staff are attentive, making you feel looked after. While the service and atmosphere shine, the food’s taste and texture could be improved to match the hearty servings. Still, it’s a pleasant place to enjoy Persian dishes in comfort.

Such a beautiful quaint venue, really good food and excellent service.
Parya from the restaurant was attentive, great in explaining the menu and had good recommendations for us.
The restaurant focuses on food they do really well in, rather than attempting to be one of the mainstream providers to cover everything under the sun on their menu.
Feels homey, a place you can enjoy good Persian food, delicious meats, aromatic rice, crispy breads.
Definitely order the lamb shank tahdig, mixed kebab tahdig, and the pomegranate chicken tahdig. The smoked eggplant and tomatoes with crispy bread was a great one to start, beautifully smoked and juicy.
Good portions for sharing! Reasonably priced!
Reservations would be a good idea for this one.

I discovered this restaurant through the Persian Food Festival and was blown away.It truly served the best Persian food I’ve ever had.
Every dish was bursting with authentic flavour and passion. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere carried such genuine culture and hospitality that my family and I felt right at home. A wonderful experience we can’t wait to repeat!

First of all, the restaurant’s design beautifully reflects and highlights Persian culture.
Secondly, the dining experience is unique compared to other places — the portions are just right for one person, without being overloaded with rice, and it comes with that perfect, crispy Tah Dig.
We tried the mixed kebab (5 stars) with extra kebab and the fesenjan (4 stars), followed by their delicious tea. The space is a little small and doesn’t have a restroom, but overall it’s highly recommended. I’d definitely go back again.
